Sweepstakes Rules
Send in your comment cards to the sweepstakes counter: Tammy Setzke RULES (Updated 2010) 2) Open and Youth points will be counted separately in the contest. 3) Points will be collected in three separate contests: Overall Quality (BOB and BOS), District (BOB & BOSB in each District) & Variety (BOV and BOSV in each variety). 4) Best of Breed (BOB) will receive 5 points. 5) Best Opposite of Sex (BOS) will receive 3 points. 6) Best of Variety (BOV) will receive 2 points. 7) Best Opposite of Variety (BOSV) will receive 1 point. 8) Points will be doubled for BOB, BOS, BOV and BOSV wins at the North America Lionhead Rabbit Club National Show and ARBA Convention each year. 9) Any ARBA Convention Show with entries limited to "Certificate holders only" would not be eligible for any points to be awarded. 10) The Sweepstakes shall run January 1 to December 31 of each year. 11) It is the owner's responsibility to send a clear copy * of the Official ARBA Remark Card used by the show * or an Exhibitor Show comment card * or an Exhibitor-after-show report from the show's secretary for the show at which you want your points counted. Send to the Lionhead Sweepstakes Counter. 12) Remark card copies must be postmarked within 60 days of the date of the show. (Copies of your remark cards or after show completed reports must be received in the mail - we need a hard copy). The following information must be filled in:
PLEASE NOTE - If information is NOT COMPLETE, we will not count your points!! Look over your cards BEFORE you mail them! 13) Each District will have points counted in OPEN only based on BOB and BOS points. There will be no BOV, BOSV or YOUTH points counted by District. 14) You must be a member in good standing of the North American Lionhead Club. Members who pay their dues more than 60 days after the renewal due date forfeit sweepstakes previously earned for the current sweepstakes year. 15) The ARBA does not allow people to show under a Rabbitry Name so we will not count points under Rabbitry names. 16) Awards will be given to the top ten (10) point holders in the Overall Sweepstakes category. Certificates will be awarded to the top three (3) point holders in each District and the top three (3) point holders in each Variety for both Open and Youth. YOUTH 1) Only youth members may collect points in the Youth Sweepstakes. 2) Youth points will be counted for ARBA Sanctioned Shows in either Open or Youth. **Awards will be given out at the NALRC National Show each year in May. For those not attending, the awards will be mailed following the show. REMEMBER ~ If you enter one show with AJ Brown and the next show with Allen J. Brown and the third show with Allen Brown you will have collected sweepstakes points in 3 different names. Always fill out your paperwork using the same form of your name. The show Secretaries will thank you and the Sweepstakes counters will love you.
