NALRC Live Auction
Rules & Requirements:
- This event is limited to 15 pre-selected Lionheads.
- Donations need to be made by April 15th.
- Selections of the 15 Lionheads will be made by April 22nd and posted on the website no later than the 25th of April.
- Donations may be made as young as 8 weeks old, however they must be 12 weeks old by April 15th to be considered.
- Each Lionhead must be a current COD color.
- Each Lionhead selected must be entered in the NALRC National Show by the donor, and the donor must be a current member of NALRC.
- There will be no entry packet this year for donors. All Donation information may be submitted via email, with the exception of the hard copy of the pedigree. ALL necessary items must be included before the offer is complete, considered by the Live Auction Committee or posted to the NALRC website. The information required is a Pedigree, a Breeder’s Quote, Current Ear Length and Weight, and Photos (Front, Back, Both Sides, and Feet). - Photographs should be updated in a timely manner, but no more than bi-weekly. The Live Auction Committee must have updated photos in hand by the deadline to begin selection or the offer will not be considered. Ear Length and Weight should also be updated regularly.
- A hard copy of the Pedigree must be mailed in to the Live Auction Committee by the deadline of April 15th to start selection for the offer to be considered.(Mail hard-copy pedigrees to: Nita Shannon 4023 NE 399th Ave Washougal Wa. 98671)
- Offers will be limited to two per rabbitry. Selections will be limited to one per rabbitry.
- Each Lionhead offered must be purebred.
- Each Lionhead offered must be free of any general disqualifications. Please inspect your rabbit before the April 15th deadline. Selected Lionheads will be inspected the morning of the show and any Lionhead found to have any general disqualifications (not breed specific disqualifications) or health concerns on the morning of the show will be removed from the Live Auction.
- Each donation will be listed on the NALRC Club Site along with detailed information on the Lionhead, its bloodlines, as well as a link back to the donor. Please have all bloodline information and a breeder’s quote ready at the time of offering.
- The Live Auction is a 50/50 Auction. 50% of the proceeds will go to the NALRC, the remaining 50% will be paid to the donor. Checks will be mailed after the completion of the National Show.
- A Lionhead that does exceptionally well at the national show may be offered and accepted the day of the show. In order to be considered, a Lionhead must either win its class of at least 15 Lionheads, win a BOV or BOSV (with at least 15 Lionheads in that variety), or win BOB or BOS.
- If an animal if sold as bred it is between the seller and the purchaser. The NALRC is not responsible for the quality of the resulting litter or liable for lack thereof
